MILK AND COOKIES

Thank you, Thank you to all the parents who recently supported two hospitality events for the staff!  The teachers were very appreciative of the dinner from Jersey Mike's Subs and all the goodies supplied by the parents at the last PTA meeting. The other event the PTA sponsored this month was a "Milk and Cookie" bar for the staff to enjoy throughout the week of November 16th.  The following poem was used to promote our event for all the staff to read and to show how much we appreciate all their hard work throughout the year.

Thanks again for everyone's support to show our appreciation to the GES staff!

MILK AND COOKIES
When I'm feeling lonely
Overworked or blue
I reach for milk and cookies
'Cause nothing else will do
They calm my nervous tension
And help me to relax
Dissolving all my worries
Like candles into wax
My thoughts return to childhood
Those happy carefree days
When Mother served us cookies
And milk, upon a tray
So if your day is dismal
And all you want is out
Try some milk and cookies
To chase away your doubt
